During workshops we - a group of students - developed digital designs. Those designs needed to have the specification to be able to be manufactured by a concrete 3D printer. The resulting geometries had been produced with the software Rhino/Grasshopper. Afterwards we simulated, first digitally, the process of the robotic arm, in order to generate a G-code for the robotic movement. The physical process had been executed at the PrintStones company. They provided us with a concrete 3D-printing robotic arm and enabled us to have a close look into the manufacturing process itself.
